Firmware/Software Design Engineer

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with 5+ years of firmware/software design experience. Duties will include writing device drivers for a broadband IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN device. Strong computer skills in the UNIX or Windows environment, including proficiency in C or C++ is also required. Experience writing Windows 95/98/NT and/or Linux device drivers, as well as experience with IEEE 802.3 drivers and/or the IEEE 802.11 MAC protocol is strongly desired. Knowledge of PCMCIA or PCI interfaces is also desired. Knowledge of computer architecture or hardware design is a plus. A BS Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required. An advanced degree is a plus.
